Biografia (ITA)
Nata nel 1996, mi avvicino alla chitarra elettrica all’età di 9 anni e, qualche anno più tardi, anche al pianoforte. A 18 intraprendo il percorso accademico in Chitarra Jazz presso il SLMC di Roma sotto la guida del Maestro Umberto Fiorentino. Mi diplomo con lode nel Settembre 2020, presentando la tesi su “Brad Mehldau: Analisi compositiva e riadattamento su chitarra”.
Nel 2020 mi trasferisco in Danimarca, dove inizia il mio percorso da compositrice ed arrangiatrice (Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, DJM Big Band, Aarhus Sinfonietta..), e direttrice di big band (Lisbjerg Big Band, 2022-23) e continua la mia attività da chitarrista (GuitarRama, Liberty Orchestra ‘22, European Jazz’s Cool ‘21). Nel settembre ‘22 ho ricevuto una Menzione d’Onore per il mio brano originale “Sam” alla 17esima edizione di “Scrivere in Jazz” – Concorso Internazione di Composizione per Orchestra Jazz. Nel giugno ‘23 conseguo il diploma magistrale in Composizione Jazz presso The Royal Academy of Music di Aarhus (DK), con Søren Møller come relatore, lavorando sul mio primo EP “Epitaphs from the Hill” con il Bignami Veltri Jazz Ensemble – formato da 9 elementi e co-diretto con la compositrice Anna Bignami.
Nell’anno 2023-24 sono stata tirocinante presso la Frankfurt HfMDK, nel loro speciale programma MA Big Band in collaborazione con la Frankfurt Radio hr-Big Band, che mi ha permesso di registrare con la big band, e di partecipare a numerosi corsi e workshop (Maria Schneider, Jim McNeely, Darcy James Argue, Guillermo Klein, Miho Hazama, Isjac Jazz Composers’ Symposium 2024 a Nashville, TN). Ho inoltre composto un brano per il cortometraggio “BIRD” di Kristin Garrelts, eseguito da Kammerphilharmonie Frankfurt durante le proiezioni del corto, per il progetto “Musik für Stummfilme 2024”.
Ad oggi, collaboro come arrangiatrice/ compositrice con realtà musicali attive in Italia (Orchestra Giovanile Filarmonici Friulani, DisOrchestra), e all’estero (Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes di Parigi, per l’Académie de Composition ‘25, sotto la guida di Frédéric Maurin; commissione per Berlin Youth Jazz Orchestra, ottobre ‘24) ed ho avuto la possibilità di suonare la mia musica dal vivo con il mio ensemble danese BVJE alla “Grande Notte del Jazz 2025” al Teatro Grande di Brescia. A questi lavori affianco l’attività di insegnamento e la mia ricerca musicale personale, che presenterò nel mio primo disco da bandleader per grande ensemble, previsto per il 2026.

Biography (ENG)
Born in 1996, I started playing guitar at the age of 9, and shortly after, also the piano. I enrolled at SLMC – Rome, to study Jazz Guitar and in September 2020 I presented my final thesis “Brad Mehldau: Compositional analysis and re-adaptation on guitar”.
I later moved to Denmark, where I began my journey as a composer and arranger (Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, DJM Big Band, Aarhus Sinfonietta), and big band conductor (Lisbjerg Big Band, 2022-23) and continued my activity as a guitarist (GuitarRama, Liberty Orchestra 2022, European Jazz’s Cool ’21). In September 2022 I received an Honorable Mention for my original piece “Sam” at the 17th edition of “Scrivere in Jazz” – International Composition Competition for Jazz Orchestra. In June 2023 I obtained the master’s degree in Jazz Composition at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (DK), with Søren Møller as supervisor, working on my first EP “Epitaphs from the Hill” with the Bignami Veltri Jazz Ensemble – 9-piece band co-directed with composer Anna Bignami.
In 2023-24 I was an intern at HfMDK Frankfurt, in their special MA Big Band program in collaboration with the Frankfurt Radio hr-Big Band, which allowed me to record with the big band, and participate in numerous courses and workshops (Maria Schneider, Jim McNeely, Darcy James Argue, Guillermo Klein, Miho Hazama, Isjac Jazz Composers’ Symposium 2024 in Nashville, TN). I also composed a piece for the short film “BIRD” by Kristin Garrelts, performed by Kammerphilharmonie Frankfurt during the screenings of the short film, for the project “Musik für Stummfilme 2024”.
Currently, I collaborate as arranger, composer, conductor with musical groups active in Italy (Orchestra Giovanile Filarmonici Friulani, DisOrchestra), and abroad (Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes of Paris, for the Académie de Composition ‘25, with Frédéric Maurin; commission for Berlin Youth Jazz Orchestra, Oct. ‘24; FliJazzO) and I had the opportunity to play my music live with my ensemble BVJE at “Grande Notte del Jazz 2025” Teatro Grande di Brescia. Alongside these works, I also teach and conduct my personal musical research, which I will present in my first album as a bandleader for large ensemble, scheduled for 2026.
